Roger Henderson
Dr Roger Henderson is one of the UK's best known and trusted media medics. He qualified as a doctor from St Bartholomew's Hospital, London in 1985 and as a general practitioner in 1990. He decided to enter the media world in 1995, and within 2 years was the medical columnist of the Sunday Times. He writes regularly for Spectator magazine and many other publications and his books - 'Stress Beaters; 100 Proven Ways to Manage Stress', '100 ways to live to 100' and 'Over 50 Men's Health Check' have all been serialized in the national press. His most recent books are 'Pregnancy for Dummies' and 'Dad's Guide to Pregnancy for Dummies'. He is a popular conference moderator and lecturer both in the UK and abroad and his full-time medical responsibilities include being the senior partner of a six doctor general practice in Shropshire, running a main surgery and two busy branch surgeries including a University campus, as well as teaching both medical students and GP registrars. He is the medical consultant to www.netdoctor.co.uk, www.askthedoctor24.co.uk and writes information factsheets for both doctors and patients for EMIS and the patient.info website. Donald Hodge
Dr Donald Hodge has been a consultant at Leeds Teaching Hospitals since 2005, initially in General Paediatrics and A&E, before transferring to paediatric allergy in 2009. He is currently employed as a Paediatric Allergist at Leeds Children's Hospital and runs a very busy NHS practice seeing children with all aspects of paediatric allergy. His particular areas of clinical interest include milk allergy and eczema.

Bill Laughey
Dr Bill Laughey is a GP partner in York where he has been based for the last sixteen years. He is also a GP appraiser for the Vale of York CCG and runs a website to inform GPs about appraisal and encourage GP learning groups (www.doctorappraisal.com). He is also a GP trainer and educational supervisor for GP Registrars in The Yorkshire & Humber Deanery and an educational facilitator for first-year medical students and the Clinical Director of the Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education at the Hull York Medical School.

Dr Raj Patel has been a GP in Greater Manchester for over twenty years. Born in Nairobi and raised in the UK, Raj is a Manchester University graduate from 1985. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners.

Raj has held a number of local, regional and national leadership positions in the NHS since 1998. A natural communicator, he is a regular commentator in print and broadcast media. He is a passionate advocate for engaging clinicians in decision making and leadership.

Raj is Deputy Regional Medical Director for NHS England North. He was formerly Medical Director for the Greater Manchester Health & Social Care Partnership as well as Director of Commissioning for Lancashire.

Lucy Warner
Lucy is Chief Executive of the NHS Practitioner Health Programme. She has over 25 years NHS experience ranging across many aspects of health care, working with practices, local and national teams and including a stint in Gibraltar.

Lucy has previously worked with NHS England as the Responding to Concerns Lead, focusing on concerns in the medical workforce and with the NHS Revalidation Support Team supporting the implementation of appraisal and revalidation for doctors in England. She also previously headed up Primary Care for the Clinical Governance Support Team.

The NHS Practitioner Health Programme is an award winning, free and confidential NHS service for doctors and dentists with issues relating to a mental or physical health concern or addiction problem, in particular where these might affect their work.

The service is self-referral. It is provided by health professionals specialising in mental health support to doctors and is available in various locations across England.
